Futures tick and point value calculator

Know what a move is worth before you take it. Pick a contract, enter a move in points, and see the number of ticks and the dollar value per contract.

How to use it

  1. Pick ES, MES, NQ or MNQ.
  2. Enter the move in points (for example, the distance to your stop).
  3. Read the tick count and the dollar value per contract.
Dollar value = points × $ per point · Ticks = points ÷ 0.25
Example. ES, 8 points = 32 ticks = 8 × $50 = $400 per contract. The same 8 points on MES is $40.
