ES to SPY, NQ to QQQ converter

Type a futures price you're already watching to get an approximate ETF-equivalent, or the reverse. This is a reference calculator, not a live quote — it doesn't pull real-time prices, and the ratios are an orientation, not a fixed conversion. See why the ratio drifts for the full explanation.

Why these are approximate, not exact

ES and SPY both track the S&P 500; NQ and QQQ both track the Nasdaq-100 — but not at a perfectly fixed ratio. SPY pays out dividends that the ES contract doesn't reflect the same way, QQQ's composition and expense ratio drift the number slightly over time, and the true ratio creeps as both instruments trade throughout the day. The defaults above (≈10 and ≈41) are a reasonable starting orientation, not a precise conversion — that's why both ratio fields are editable rather than fixed. For the full explanation of what drives the drift and why it matters even if you never place a futures order, read why overnight futures levels matter for SPY and QQQ traders.
